New Cumberland Public Library Miller & Norford, Inc. completed additions and renovations to the New Cumberland Public Library, located at the corner of 7th & Brandt Streets in the Boro of New Cumberland. The project included two additions. A 1,644 square foot addition to the North side of the existing building houses non-fiction books. The South side addition (5,526 square feet) contains space for fiction books, audio-visual media, offices, crafts and an area dedicated for children's use. Additionally, the parking lot was expanded and the front entrance was renovated as part of the overall project.Because of the necessity of the Library remaining open during construction, Miller & Norford worked closely with Library personnel to ensure patron safety as well as to minimize disruptions to normal operations throughout the construction phase. |
